Monthly Meeting September 2024 We had the pleasure of hosting our September 2024 meeting at the iconic Ferrari World™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. It was a day filled with insightful presentations, networking, and meaningful discussions that continue to drive our association forward. The day commenced with the elections for the Abu Dhabi Concierge Group Executive Committee. Congratulations to all newly elected members! We look forward to seeing the valuable contributions you will make to our concierge community in Abu Dhabi. Following the elections, we held examinations for aspiring members of the Dubai Concierge Group, Abu Dhabi Concierge Group, and Les Clefs d’Or United Arab Emirates. Congratulations to the successful candidates, and we wish you the best in your upcoming projects. The next examination round is scheduled for December. Our National Secretary, FRANCIS OWOR opened the event by welcoming everyone to Ferrari World, followed by our President, Amado Silveti who expressed his gratitude for the support received during his recent bereavement. We were honored to have our host, Mr. Faisal Al Nuaimi General Manager of Ferrari World, introduce the group to the park’s cutting-edge attractions and the surprising Gio, the Ferrari engine-robot. He also emphasized the importance of our continued partnership with Ferrari World and shared key insights into the park’s latest developments. Next, Mr. Tristan Sommer-Enriquez, CEO of BaggageTAXI, highlighted their seamless luggage pick-up, storage, and delivery services, offering guests the convenience to explore the city luggage-free. The service, accessible via a user-friendly app, enhances the overall guest experience by removing the stress of managing luggage. Ms. Dhamani emphasized the importance of their long-standing partnership with Les Clefs d’Or UAE and the ongoing collaboration that benefits both our guests and our members. The meeting concluded with our traditional Kahoot quiz, expertly led by Allwyn D’Cunha, our Third Vice President. Congratulations to Abuhureira, Stephanie, and Roger for their well-earned victories. Our National Secretary Francis Owor kicked things off with a warm welcome, followed by our President, Amado Silveti, who shared his heartfelt connection with the One&Only brand. Amado reminisced about the grand opening of One&Only The Palm in 2010, a milestone in his concierge journey. Ms. Kelly Webb Next up, we had the fabulous Ms. Kelly Webb, Hotel Manager, who took us on a captivating journey from Australia to Dubai, showcasing the architectural marvel that is One&Only One Za’abeel. Mr. Cristiaan Olivier Cristiaan Olivier, Manager F&B Marketing and Partners, then wowed us with a tour of the incredible restaurants and celebrity chefs at the hotel. In the middle: Ms. Paulina Mercader Aguilar Paulina Mercader Aguilar, Director of Wellness, and her team introduced us to the innovative Longevity Hub in Dubai, featuring cutting-edge technologies and dedicated longevity coaches. The excitement peaked as we officially welcomed Sasha Goncharenko and Artem, Assistant Chief Concierges at One&Only One Za’abeel, to the Dubai Concierge Group. Congratulations on this milestone towards Clefs d’Or membership! Mr. Merwin Dawson, Chief Commercial Officer of Air Chateau, showcased their impressive helicopter fleet and announced the much-anticipated electric air transfer shuttles. Mr. Shaikh Ijaz, Senior Manager at Valtrans , shared the remarkable journey of their valet parking services since 2003, highlighting innovative and sustainable milestones. Amado then revealed upcoming major Clefs d’Or events, and Roger, our Public Relations Officer, presented a video of our successful Education Day in June. Monthly Meeting May 2024 Koi Seafood Restaurant Located in the vibrant heart of China Town, Koi Seafood Restaurant, Downtown Dubai’s premier seafood destination, hosted our Les Clefs d’Or UAE monthly gathering for May. Our General Secretary, FRANCIS OWOR, set the tone for a memorable evening, which was then inaugurated by our President, Amado Silveti. Ibrahim Al Saleh, the visionary behind Koi, stepped up to express his dedication to the art of hospitality. Mustafa Haj the Operations Director, led us on an exploratoire journey through Koi’s luxurious spaces, each revealing its own unique and hidden delights. The culinary experience was a masterful blend of Asian flavors. Tarlan Musaev CEO of Dubai Yachts LLC, along with his distinguished yacht crew, introduced us to their exquisite collection of yachts and bespoke services. A momentous occasion was marked as Davron Khabibov, Concierge at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, was awarded his Dubai Concierge Group membership, signifying a significant milestone in his journey with Clefs d’Or. Under the commendable initiative of Joshua Rudy, Concierge Supervisor at Atlantis the Royal, our group organized a clothing donation drive to support the unsung heroes of Dubai, the construction workers. Our First Vice President, Allwyn D’Cunha, orchestrated an engaging Kahoot quiz to test our knowledge of UAE Concierge services. Congratulations to Artem, Michal Beneda, and Daryl Bismanos for their triumphant win. President Amado Silveti shared captivating stories from the UICH Bali Congress, complemented by a video presentation from Alexander Kasparov that encapsulated the essence of the event. Looking ahead, our next rendezvous is set for June 26 at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, where we will convene for our Grand Educational Day and General Assembly.
